Afe Magnum Cold Air Intake for 2005+ E90 325/330

The 3 Series is BMW's top seller in the U.S., and for good reason. Endowed with world-class suspension, and steering components, these cars have an ability to communicate with their drivers that is unmatched in the entry-level luxury class and pretty much unmatched by most cars at any price range. The 325 model is powered by a 3.0L inline six that makes 215 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. The 330 has a 3.0L engine that generates 255 hp and 220 lb-ft of torque. Our engineers here at aFe knew it would be a difficult task to squeeze even more power out of this already efficient engine but we were up to the task. The key was creating better airflow as well as keeping out heat. We knew exactly what needed to be done. Introducing our stage 2 intake system for the all new 2006 BMW 325i/330I
(PN 54-11012).

One of the most important features on the new E90 stage 2 intake system is the 360 degree radial high flow washable / reusable air filter. Utilizing an inverted top for maximum airflow.


Remember , no power or torque can be produced without extra air. Our heat blocking molded intake tube eliminates the restrictive factory tube increasing air flow, which means more power!

Our brushed aluminum housing cover not only adds to the overall style of the E90 but also serves an important purpose in blocking out engine heat and directing cold air to the filter.

After about 25 minutes of installation time, we were ready for dyno testing. The first thing I noticed when the E90 was strapped to the dyno, was the deep growl it gave off. Something that was truly lacking, pre aFe intake system. It now sounded like a true "sport sedan". When all the testing was complete , we recorded a increase of 6.5 horse power and 7 lbs/ft* of torque @ 4900 RPM .
