KW coilover suspension in 3 Variants for 2007 BMW 1 Series E87 Sedan

KW suspensions announces their stainless steel constructed coil-over for the 2007+ BMW 1 Series E87 Sedan. All 3 Variants of the KW suspension line up are available.

The KW coilover suspensions for the 2007+ BMW 1 Series E87 Sedan enables the owner to lower their vehicle 35-65mm on the front axle and 35-55mm on the rear axle and retains enough travel to handle maximuim load and dynamic loads during driving. Variant 1 with it´s preset dampening rates permits customized lowering of the suspension and creates an optimized balance of sportiness, comfort and safety. Variant 2 is the ideal system for sporty drivers, who also wish to make modifications in ride height and rebound dampening, to adapt the suspension to their driving style. Variant 3 permits an even higher degree of customization to the suspension. Adjustable (and independent) rebound and compression damping allows a truly individual performance driving setup for those technically demanding drivers. Compression dampening adjustment is conducted in the low-speed range, while the high-speed set-up that is so decisive for driving comfort, has been pre set by KW engineers.

Important characteristics such as safety, quality and performance are all taken into consideration with each KW coilover design. Each vehicle application is specifically designed and engineered for a proper range of motion, min/max weight loads and min/max lowering. All these requirements are met while retaining and improving performance handling characteristics. Each KW coilover suspension is produced with unique stainless steel inox-line technology. The stainless steel construction internally and externally provides long term durability and corrosion resistance from the elements. All KW coilovers pass stringent German TUV safety and quality testing standards. Each kit is sold TUV approved.

KW Coilover systems are a combination of lowering springs and specially tuned shortened shock absorbers that have been coupled with engineered threaded strut housings that allow you to lower your vehicle within a specified range using the adjustable aluminum spring perches.

All KW Coilover systems are constructed using the new stainless steel INOX-line strut housings that provide the ultimate in corrosion resistance, guaranteeing functionality for the life of the vehicle. KW Coilover Suspension Systems are available in three damping variants to suit your driving needs.

Variant 1 - factory set dampening
The KW Variant 1 Coilover system is the ideal introductory system for customers who prefer to rely on the experience of our KW engineers for damper settings, but require the ability to adjust the height of the vehicle to their needs.

In extensive driving tests our engineers have set the dampers for the best balance between sporty driving, comfort and safety.

Variant 2 - rebound adjustable dampening
The KW Variant 2 is the system intended for the experienced driver who requires to not only determine the individual lowering of their vehicle, but adjust the damper setting to fine tune the system to their needs.

The adjustable rebound damper allows adjustment of the pitch and roll behavior of the vehicle, adapting it to one's own driving preferences.

Variant 3 - compression & rebound adjustable
The new KW Variant 3 is state-of-the-art technology for the discriminating and experience driver. The separate and independent compression and rebound damping options allow a truly individual driving set-up.

These unique systems with the 3 adjustable components, allows for adjustment of the compression and rebound of the damper in the low-speed range, allowing you to custom tailor your suspension to your driving needs.
