Piloti Spyder SV |
The low-cut Spyder SV is a favorite from the Piloti Touring line. Like our Race Performance shoes, the Spyder SV has our patented Roll Control™ heel and is reinforced on the lateral side of the right shoe for proper heel-&-toe downshifting. The Touring line was created to give enthusiasts an alternative to our line of fire-resistant shoes while retaining all the fit and performance of all Piloti shoes. Instructors at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving use the Spyder SV as their daily footwear. We’ve added one more innovation: a unique toggle lacing system. Piloti Driving Shoes were designed for anyone who desires the best in
racing and driving shoe performance. These are people who want a
high-performance shoe for heel-and-toeing and other fancy footwork. But
what makes Piloti really special is the unique blend of styling and

Control™ spherical heel for unique cushioning behind the heel
bone while in the car. Once outside the car, they support your natural
stride with a rubber heel wrap for durability and grip,

construction offers you good cushioning under the foot; unlike typical
racing shoes or driving moccasins that have none. The unique "Toe
Spring" aids in all-day comfort in and out of the car,
- Reinforced
Lateral Side of the Right Shoe for easy heel-to-toe downshifting. Plus,
the reinforced upper and outsole rubber wraps up the side of the
midsole,

Wear a thin-soled shoe on
pavement for a few minutes and you'll quickly want to walk out of them.
Existing racing or driving shoes don't have the cushioning element of
an athletic shoe. This doesn't happen with Piloti. Why? Because of
Piloti founder Kevin A. Beard's history of designing shoes at Adidas,
Reebok and K-Swiss. Using that knowledge, he designed Piloti Driving
Shoes to support the midfoot, the heel, and the medial and lateral
sides of each foot. In other words, the entire foot.
The
patented Roll
Control? heel not only provides a cushioned area while you're driving,
but it also allows a natural impact and roll into the gait while you're
walking. Pretty sweet, huh? |

In a NASCAR race at the California Speedway, the fourth place finisher received medical attention because he forgot to put his heel liners in his racing shoes. His heels blistered from the vibration and movement during the race. If he had worn Piloti Driving Shoes, he would have been a much happier man.
Again, Piloti's patented Roll Control spherical heel is designed to counteract this problem. It extends the cushioning up the heel of the shoe and on the sides of the shoe, especially at the forefoot to cushion the contact with the sides of the footwell. So no matter how fast you drive, or walk, your feet will perform beautifully. |

Due to the volume of potential sizes and colors we stock only the most common colors and sizes in very limited quantities. That means your order is likely to drop-ship from the manufacturer. Due to contractural distribution agreements with Canadian Piloti dealers, Piloti will not drop-ship to Canada. That means we have to order your shoes, have them shipped to our location, and then ship them to you in Canada. This procedure adds $13.00 in additional shipping and fees to our cost. We recommend you try to find your Piloti shoes from a dealer in Canada, if possible. We are happy to have your business, but must pass on the additional costs to process orders to Canada.
